Trying to overcome fear!

Went to SX Worx to face his fear of the 'double double' jump - something he hasn't tried in over a year because he crashed into the hay bails at the end when he last did it.

But everything felt like it was against us.

'My seat came loose' shouted Harley - dad had put it on wrong. Or so we thought. We put it back on, but it came off again. We thought it was back on properly this time but it came off again!! This time we put it on so well it ended up stuck on... dad must have broken something... but fixing that is a job for another day.

All was going so well until we were charging the bike and Harley knocked it off the stand... cracking the tubing in the grip. Was the day over? Thankfully it was just the end of the grip... I was ready to load up and go home but Harley cried to go back out for another session.

The session was good - but he didn't manage the double double. He leant up against the hay bails and cried because he wanted to try again.... and thought he couldn't.

But the lady running the track for the private hire said 'go on, you can try again' his face lit up. Out he went with Colby... after a few tries he got it! He was shouting YES!!! YESSSSS!! As he rode round the track. Wish I'd gotten the clip... he's fuming with me I was stood in the wrong place so he's insisted we're back next week to get it on camera
