Thanks so much for tuning in, I’m Chris with Chris’ tech tips. Today is the next installment of the new model series featuring the all new Rieju MR300. We're going to dive deep into this machine and let you know everything, that Rieju has to offer! So, let get into it.
Rieju, say what? Yes, that’s right I said Rieju. Yeah about a month ago I put out a video on the all new gas gas and if you haven't had a chance to check that out make sure you do it's really awesome video anyway one of my subscribers commented to me that he couldn't wait until he get got his Rieju imported into the United States that was the first time I ever heard of Rieju. It looks like it’s Re-jew but its pronounced Ray-Who, And if your thinking this is just another knock off, you would be wrong. Don’t just take my word for it, check this thing out!
Let’s back up a bit, In 1934 two young businessmen, and please forgive me if I mess up the pronunciation, Luis Riera Carré and Jaime Juanola Farres, began their entrepreneurial adventure by manufacturing bicycle accessories. They fused their names together to create the RIEJU brand name (RIEra+JUanola).
• 1945 – the 1st motorcycle is born. Which would later be called a moped
• 1953 - 1st 100% Rieju Motorcycle
• 1958-64 1st and 2nd phase of scooters
• 1978 - Rieju enters Enduro competition
• 1992 - Rieju’s 50th anniversary
• 2019 - Rieju acquires GG Enduro Platform
Starting, 2020, Rieju will manufacture, market, and continue to develop the well-known Spanish enduro motorcycle formerly known as GASGAS!
we need to give credit to all those who were brave enough to climb aboard and tame these wild beasts and help protect and perfect the Spanish motorcycle heritage as it evolves over time.
BULTACO, OSSA, AND GASGAS WROTE A LARGE PORTION OF dirt bike history. THEY CLAIMED COUNTLESS VICTORIES IN THEIR STORIED PAST. ALTHOUGH some of THESE NAMES HAVE MOVED ON such as OSSA which was active from 1924 to 1982 and from 2010 to 2015, and if you haven’t seen my 2014 OSSA TRI 300 Build video. make sure to check it out, ill leave a link on the video description below.
Recently resurrected Gasgas MOTORCYCLE COMPANY with the help of KTM has made a huge come back to the motorsport’s world. Make sure to check out my Gasgas MC450 video out the bike is beast.
And Bultaco, who has re-entered the two-wheeled market with a bang, although not with the bang that most would have anticipated. The hugely successful Spanish motorcycle brand come back into the market reborn, their new electric motorcycles providing intuitive heart-stopping thrust and performance.
