The forgotten 1976 Honda CB550 Chopper saga rolls into Episode 3!
This poor thing got rear-ended back in the late ’70s and has basically been trapped in a time capsule ever since. Now that we’ve confirmed spark, it’s time to get this survivor at least rollable so we can move forward with the real tear-down.

In this episode we swap out that destroyed rear wheel with something that actually… you know… turns. Once the bike can move again, we roll it outside for its first bath in decades—years of dust, oily sludge, and old-shop funk finally get blasted off.

Then the crash damage shows itself in all its glory: the seat is split wide open. Instead of hunting down a new seat cover, we go full old-school—needle, thread, and some good ol’ stubbornness. We hand-stitch the torn seams back together like a biker grandma doing upholstery triage. And weirdly enough… it works.
