A race tuned engine bought second hand will usually ‘work’ but will have some issues to resolve.

You should when buying it ask to see the engine working as a minimum. You should at least get an engine that works

This is cheapest way to get into race tuning engines.

I would say there is a lot more fun on race tuned small bike than say large fast sports motorcycle. As soon as you start race tuning any engine reliability suffers

If you want reliability buy a Honda scooter, motorcycle

If you want reliable car buy Toyota or Lexus

Yea you can own other vehicles but were talking about real world performance, reliability
