How do you fix a motorcycle that bounces on the front end? There can be a few causes, but today we’re going to address it by replacing the fork seals on our Kawasaki Ninja 650.
This job isn’t difficult, but it’s detail oriented. Lots of little pieces in your fork that have to come off… and then go back on… in the correct order.
We’ll start by removing the wheel and brake caliper. Then, we’ll loosen up the triple tree and remove each side of the fork.
Now it’s time for disassembly of the fork. Take your time here, and be sure when you complete the disassembly you clean the inside of the tube. No need to have junk floating around in there after you rebuild it.
Then we’ll put everything back together again using a kit from All Balls Racing and some KYB fork oil.
