The Honda CBX engine rebuild continues with cleaning the engine and getting the old terrible paint stripped off. A combination of degreasing, sand blasting, and vapor honing really got the cases looking fantastic!

Next on the agenda was to repair the 6 stripped cam holders/cam caps to which the valve cover bolts to. These were a mess but I used a quality kit from time-sert to repair them.

As of this posting the cases and cylinder head are at a shop being further cleaned and inspected. With 5 bent valves we can surely expect some work needing to be done to the head. Stay tuned updates on those.
