He doesn’t break form coming out of the turn—he’s still got the bike leaned over, even in the exact moment he throws a little celebration. In racing you don’t just tip the bike; you lean your whole body with it, sometimes so far your knee actually skims the pavement. That deep lean isn’t for show. It’s there to fight the outward push you feel in a fast corner to keep your balance locked in. If you don’t get low enough, that force can shove you wide, and you’ll start sliding to the outside, so you’ve got to hold a stable shape through the corner. And even with solid balance and clean form, a slick surface or a bump with another rider can still launch you. The risk is always there.
