Ready to ride the street in style? Today, I take the 2025 Kawasaki Z650 out for a real-world test ride and give you my honest first impressions. This bike is basically the Naked Ninja 650, but it’s got its own attitude—and it’s definitely grown on me.

The upright ergonomics, surprising comfort, sharp throttle response, and freeway-friendly power make this one of the best middleweight naked bikes on the market. But is it beginner-friendly? Not quite—and I’ll explain why in detail.
