Buying a bike is a big deal for me. I tend to hold onto what I’ve got for a long time. So when I reach into my wallet to buy a bike, it’s got to be something pretty special.

Hi, I’m Dave Darcy from Motorcycle Adventure Dirtbike TV, and today I’m sharing the real reasons why I bought the CFMOTO 800 MT X.

So this is it — my new bike, the CFMOTO 800 MT X.

After two tough days in the Yarra Valley at the CFMOTO Challenge, this bike completely won me over. I didn’t plan on buying one… but after what I saw — and what this bike survived — the decision was easy.

The CFMOTO Challenge was a brutal two-day test of skill, endurance, and machinery. Through every section — deep mud, rough terrain, and endless climbs — the 800 MT X kept delivering. Solid handling, genuine off-road capability, and surprising durability straight out of the crate.
